Description of Research in Relation to Placemaking :

My research in relation to place making is concentrated on migrants’ use of spaces, their imaginations, their collective and individual actions in relation to place-making. My methods include walking methodology and visual methodology using smart phones for mapping the urban space. My interests lie in migrants’ agency in recreating different narratives of urban spaces and their vision for future urban planning. The other aspect of migration and planning is migrant children’s roles in creating narratives of place-making.
